When the Ryder Cup came to Rochester in 1995 we utilized Big Top tents in many different configurations. In the Rochester Airport Marriott parking lot we installed a lavish 60x100 tent. To cover the blacktop, we installed a complete wood floor with carpet, created walkways and grand entrances using marquee tents, and filled the tent with a deluxe bar, cocktail tables, bar stools, tables and chairs. The beauty of a Big Top is the ability to take an empty shell and enhance it to suit the needs of the client.

How do you arrange an intimate dining experience for over 1000 people? For a Ryder Cup event held at the Genesee Country Museum we provided an impressive 80x280 tent for the main dining area. We complimented it with connecting 40x40 and 40x80 frame tents, walkways to an 80x60 tent and a 60x40 tent located behind the main tent, and a 120-foot marquee walkway connecting the main tent and one of the museum buildings. Whatever the size of the event, we make the form fit the function.

The Town of Irondequoit holds their annual Oktoberfest at Camp Eastman in Durand Eastman Park. With the help of LT Rental they are able to accommodate thousands of people over the course of two weeks in two 80x120 entertainment tents that are both connected to an 80x130 tent where people gather to eat and drink. We also provide tables, chairs, stages, dance floors, raised VIP areas, lighting and a grand entrance tent complete with wood flooring. Because the event is held in September and the weather is unpredictable, we enclose all of the structures with our cathedral and solid sidewalls.

Due to the duration of the event, our LT field staff is on 24-hour call and regularly inspects the tents to ensure that the event will go off without a hitch. The Town of Irondequoit has hired LT Rental Services for this event for the past ten years due to our commitment to customer service and quality as well as our adaptability and size of inventory.

If you have 700 graduates, you'll have 1400 proud parents, another 3000 family and friends, and a big problem if you can't bring them all together for commencement. Nazareth College came to LT Rental with that problem and we were able to accommodate their needs by installing an 80x250 tent on their front lawn. To stand in the back of this tent and look down the slope at row after row of chairs and look up at the gentle curves that flow into the multiple peaks is just awe-inspiring. We have the ability to provide showcase tents for showcase events.

A true testament to the ability of LT Rental to rise to the occasion and to the versatility of our frame tents was when we were asked to fill Xerox Square with tents for a Xerox corporate affair. The challenge was to create as much covered space as possible and to incorporate covered walkways into the main area while working around a number of obstacles. These obstacles included several light poles, two sets of stairs, low ceilings where maximum room was necessary, a rather large statue and a limited time frame to install and dismantle everything. Working into the night, we utilized our 40x90 and 30x90 frame tents to cover a majority of the main area.

The statue made for a wonderful décor enhancement within the impressive 40x90 tent. To extend the main area, we created walkways around the light poles that led into 16x72, 20x50 and 20x40 frame tents. Two walkways, one 9x80 and one 9x110, led the guests up the stairs and into either side of the main area. Sometime after midnight the entire structure was enclosed with our cathedral sidewall and several hundred feet of rain gutter was used where the tents were joined together. By late afternoon the following day the event was over and all the items were expeditiously removed.
